What an amazing journey!
Through the success of our film festival run and screenings a US non-profit was formed by our supporters called THE MOUNT HOPE PROJECT Inc. in 2011.
In February 2012, a fundraising screening was done in the Philippines to set up THE MOUNT HOPE INITIATIVE, Inc. Philippines. One of its purpose is to set up THE MOUNT HOPE SCHOLARSHIP FUND to send the children of the scavenger- actors to school.
The Mount Hope Initiative and screening is proudly sponsored by the BUNGE Emissions Group, The Q.C. Government and Pangea Energy Philippines.

I just got the word today, that Ren just had a successful surgery to correct his club-foot deformity. He is scheduled to go home in a couple of days. We would like to THANK EVERYONE involved in the MOUNT HOPE PROJECT,to all the supporters and donors for the cause and the film, each of one you had helped us touch the life of this child. PICTURES and VIDEOS will be uploaded as soon as get them. We’re also getting ready to do the SOUND MIX and the SOUND DESIGN of the film, partly from the amount raised from the fundraising in Boonton, Kinnelon and Indie go-go!
